Men are often known to make unintentionally hurtful/painful remarks to women on certain things, for instance, 'why are you complaining?You should be used to this by now' while a woman is menstruating.
Although, these remarks/statements are meant to help/comfort women, they usually rub women off the wrong way.
Wedding planning is certainly one of those moments where anything you say or do, will be held against you, so tread lightly.
The following remarks must not come out of your mouth if you do not want to antagonise your lady.
1. "Just relax"- Guys are built differently from women, so you handle things differently, however, ignore the temptation to offer comfort with these two words-"just relax" as they usually have the opposite effect. Instead, try distracting her by either doing something nice or just being there for her.
2. "My mom wants to help plan our wedding"- PLEASE, do not say these words except your bride-to-be genuinely does not care. You can watch monster-in-law to see what we mean.
3. "Whatever you want"- Women are complicated beings, while they do not necessarily need your help, they most definitely do not want you not to offer or say these three words-whatever you want. This can be easily interpreted as you not showing concern or not being interested, and you do not want your fiancee to think you are not interested.
4. "How difficult can this be? "- Men everywhere do not ask this question as it will only end badly.
