OFFICE OF THE REGISTRAR
BAN ON POURING OF WATER AND OTHER LIQUID SUBSTANCES BY GRADUATING STUDENTS WHO JUBILATE AFTER THEIR FINAL DEGREE EXAMS
It has been reported that some groups of graduating students after writing their final degree examinations often indulge in the practice of pouring of water and other liquid substances on themselves in jubilation over their assumed graduation from the university.
This unwholesome jubilation has been going on over the years and has degenerated to pouring of liquid substances inimical to human health. Consequent upon this, the Vice-Chancellor has placed a total ban on all acts of this nature within the university community and warned that henceforth, offenders would be severely punished.
Signed:
Barr C.C Okeke,
Registrar.
