The Shoki word which is a Yoruba word for getting down with the opposite s*x or in one word ‘qu*ckie’ has since its inception gone round like a wildfire. Cutting across all tribes in Nigeria, the ‘shoki’ dance apparently is here to stay. Even the banning of one of the popular songs that shot out the ‘shoki’ dance has proven not to affect the influence of the shoki dance in Nigeria.
