WHO Declares Nigeria, Senegal Free Of Ebola Virus

The World Health Organization has said that the Ebola outbreak has been basically contained in Nigeria and Senegal. The current Ebola outbreak is the deadliest ever recorded as it has now claimed 2,811 lives, according to the World Health Organization (WHO).

Nigeria recorded 20 infections and 8 deaths including index case, Patrick Sawyer but there has been no new reported case since September 8. Senegal, on the other hand, has registered only one case, a Guinean student who is now Ebola-free.
