According to his autobiography, he was led to Christ by a missionary teacher, Miss Betty Lasher on the 19th of February 1969. He was brought up by his grandmother, Mrs Racheal Adeyiola Odetundun in Kwara state. Bishop Oyedepo’s father, Pa Abraham went to be with the Lord at age 102 in 2004.
