Nigeria Military Didn't Fire GOC Attacked By Convicted Soldiers - Defence HQ

The Nigerian defence HQ has dismissed rumours making the rounds that former General Officer Commanding the 7 Division of the Nigerian Army, Maj. Gen. Abubarkar Mohammed, who was attacked by soldiers at their barracks in Maiduguri on May 14th has since been quietly retired. The Defence HQ made this known via its twitter handle.
