Truck Rams Into Classroom, Kills 7 School Children

A truck driver yesterday in Abia state, lost control and rammed into a classroom killing 7 school children with 15 others wounded. The truck was said to be on its way to Ovom waterside to evacuate sand when it lost control and rammed into the fence of Glorious International Academy located on 42 Opobo road, before killing the pupils who were having their morning devotion. The sad part was that, they had already finished their exams, but came to school that morning for their end of year party. Blood stains littered the floor while plates, spoons and food meant for the party were seen scattered all over. Some parents and relations who lost their children and wards were seen weeping uncontrollably while others were making inquiries regarding the whereabouts of their children and wards.
