Shooting Stars, who currently face relegation as they are rooted bottom of the league table with just three matches left this season, recently offset the medical bills of Ogaga who was initially receiving treatment at a private clinic in Ibadan. An indegene of Edo State, Ogaga grew up in Northern Nigeria where he played for top sides like Kano Pillars and Jigawa United.
He was recruited to Shooting Stars by erstwhile General Manager, Mutiu Adepoju. In a chat with PREMIUM TIMES, one of Ogaga’s teammates, Thomas Adesina, said he was shocked about the death.
“I am shocked, I never knew it was something this serious, we will miss him a big deal in Ibadan,” Adesina said.
