The Kenyan defence forces shared some shocking images revealing the true extent of the destruction caused to the Nairobi shopping centre during the four-day battle between Kenyan forces and Islamic militants and also footage of the remains at the mall. Current death toll is 72 with about 200 people injured, including more than 60 who are presently at hospital. At least 18 foreigners were among those killed with six Britons and people from France, Canada, the Netherlands, Australia, Peru, India, Ghana, South Africa and China. The ugly incident started on Saturday morning, September 21, 2013 and extended till Tuesday when the Kenyan government finally took over the arena.See pictures after this cut
