Nwachukwu Ozioko better known as Vast, a member of Nigerian pop duo Bracket was battling Cancer. Sources close to the Vast told UNB that he got diagnosed with the deadly disease Lymphoma (cancer of the blood) back in February. Vast, we are told received treatment at the Wellington Hospital, London. A staff at the hospital informed us that Vast was indeed admitted in February. ‘He was discharged on February 28‘, a staff told us over the telephone.

His long time singing partner Smash also supported him in the UK. Reports say Vast undergo 4 circles of chemotherapy with each circle costing about N1.4million. The pair aren’t letting Vast’s health issues slow their music career down though, a few months ago, they hired Nigerian video director Clarence Peters to shoot a video for an upcoming single.
