Lady Gaga has opened up about her sexual past, claiming lesbians are ‘more daring’ and energetic than ‘straight men’ – and blasting the idea she was only saying it ‘to be shocking’. The ‘Applause’ hitmaker has opened up about her sexual past and insisted she only ‘fell in love’ when she was convinced a man could have the same energy as the women she’d been with. Speaking on ‘Watch What Happens Live‘, she revealed: ‘It’s similar to how I feel about guys.


‘I like them because I find lesbians to be way more daring than straight men, when it comes to coming on to you. And I really like that. ’And it wasn’t until I found a guy that could come onto me as strong as a lesbian that I fell in love.’ The outspoken star – who is dating actor Taylor Kinney – said she wasn’t discussing her preference just ‘to be shocking’, explaining she is genuinely attracted to women.

She added: ‘I like girls. I’ve said that (before). I know people think I just say things to be shocking, but I actually do like p***y. It just depends on whose p***y it is.’ The 27-year-old singer also spoke candidly about her previous career as a ‘burlesque dancer‘ and noted she earned more as a performer than she would have done as a waitress.

She said: ‘I made more money stripping than waitressing … I didn’t show too much – I was a burlesque dancer. ’Because my family’s European, for me it wasn’t that weird and I didn’t do anything super seedy – although my dad didn’t think so.’
