Jonathan Was Deceived By Oritsejafor's "False Prophecy" – Pastor Okotie

The General Overseer of Household of God Church, Rev. Chris Okotie, has claimed that were it not Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor’s “false” prophecy to former President Goodluck Jonathan, he would not have contested the 2015 presidential election.
He said that the former President had initially made up his mind not to vie for the election, but revealed that Oritsejafor “deceived” him with tales of victory as prophesied unto him by God.
Pastor Oritsejafor is the President of the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN.

Pro-Biafra Campaigners Threaten To ‘Bring Down’ Nigerian Embassy In India Over Kanu’s Arrest

Some pro-Biafra campaigners have threatened to ‘bring down’ the Nigeria High Commission in India over the detention of the Director of Radio Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu.

The campaigners under the aegis of Indigenous People of Biafra, staged a protest in front of the Commission’s building in New Delhi to demand the release of Mr. Kanu.

Mr. Kanu was reportedly picked up by the Department of State Security last week over the activities of his pirate radio station, Radio Biafra.

29000 Nigerians Set To Be Deported From UK

The Nigeria High Commission in London has bemoaned the migration and removal policy of the UK Government, which has placed a deportation tag on 29,000 Nigerians.

The Acting Nigerian High Commissioner in London, Mr Olukunle Bamgbose, gave the indication in his office when he spoke with State House Correspondents covering Vice President Yemi Osinbajo’s visit to London.

He said that the migration policy was a result of the mi­gration crisis created by the troubled regions in the world.

Nigeria has been given June 2016 deadline to improve in the processing of its foodstuffs or risk permanent ban from the international market. The Director General of NAFDAC, Paul Orhi, who made this known yesterday, said that food items from Nigeria were been rejected in the international food market because of the unhealthy procedure used in processing them.

The DG said at the public presentation of the special edition of the National Mobilizer magazine by the National Orientation Agency (NOA) in Abuja that way Nigerian foods are being processed was very unhealthy and a lot of orientation and information dissemination needs to be done at all levels to get it right.

About three months after the passing away of Oba Okunade Sijuwade, the Giesi ruling house candidate, Prince Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi has emerged the 51st Ooni of Ile-Ife.

The governor of Osun State, Rauf Aregbesola, has confirmed this development in a press statement. He said in the statement that the kingmakers of Ife had completed the required process and communicated the choice of Prince Ogunwusi to his office for approval.

MTN In Nigeria Has Been Hit With A Fine Of N1trillion

The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has issued a landmark fine of N1.04 trillion ($5.2bn) against MTN Nigeria for failing to disconnect subscribers with unregistered and incomplete subscriber identification modules (SIM) cards within the stipulated time.

The fine which is the largest in the history of telecom infringements may redefine the relationships between telecommunications operators and the regulator.
According to Technology Times, NCC fined MTN Nigeria “for allegedly undermining efforts by the Nigerian government to tackle security challenges and the war on terror and allied crimes, as the telecoms operator has allegedly refused to deactivate unregistered mobile phone lines on its network.”

Fatai, who has been arrested by the Oyo State Police command for various Internet crimes, including hacking into bank accounts of many people in and outside Nigeria, had once been arrested for robbery and arraigned in court but granted bail.
