Cash Money CEO Bryan 'Birdman' Williams, rapper Young Thug and other members of their entourage have been named in an indictment alleging they conspired to kill rapper Lil Wayne over a business dispute.

Channel 2 Action News has uncovered an indictment filed in Cobb County in June that alleges Williams and another rapper named Bryan Williams, aka Birdman, were involved in a RICO conspiracy to kill Lil Wayne when his tour bus was shot up in April. The indictment also says all of the men are members of the Bloods gang.

Building collapse: Lagos Set To prosecute Synagogue church, contractor

Lagos State Governor, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode on Thursday said that his administration will enforce the verdict of the Coroner’s inquest on the September 12, 2014 Synagogue building collapse in consonance with the rule of law.

The Governor in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Habib Aruna, said his government will uphold and enforce the sanctity of the law in the state, just as he urged residents of the state to also respect the rule of Law.

“His Excellency hereby reiterates his Government’s commitment to uphold and enforce the sanctity of the law in the state and calls on all Lagos resident to respect the rule of law”, the statement said.

Okonjo-Iweala Hands Buhari List Of Corrupt Deals Approved By Jonathan

The just past Finance Minister Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, has handed President Muhammadu Buhari a list of corrupt deals approved by Goodluck Jonathan.

The online news medium claimed that Okonjo-Iweala has been quietly cooperating with Buhari’s administration. “In an attempt to curry favor with the new government, Mrs. Okonjo-Iweala recently directed officials of her polling agency, NOI Polls, to give President Buhari a 70 per cent approval rating among Nigerians,” SaharaReporters said.

“The polling results were simply cooked up,” a professional pollster told US-based news platform, noting that, “prior to the 2015 general elections, the former minister’s fake polling organization kept repeating that Mr. Jonathan approval rating was up even as his political fortune plummeted.”

Pope Francis Breaks The Internet With 22M Twitter Followers

Catholic leader Pope Francis on Wednesday, July 16, surpassed 22 million Twitter followers on his multiple accounts. He joins the ranks of tech-savvy entertainers and world leaders who command tens of millions of followers on social media.

According to the site Il Sismografo, the pope pulled in 29,000 new followers each day during his recent eight-day trip to South America, versus his already impressive average of 20,000.

CBN reports that of the nine accounts in languages such as French and German, his Spanish language account is the most popular - with just over nine million followers - while the English account comes in second with around 6.5 million followers.

Prophet Walter Magaya a controversial man of God in Harare, Zimbabwe, has stirred another round of storm when a statement from his church claim his 'holy oil' managed to open a young girl's honeypot that has been closed since her birth, reports My Zimbabwe.

The girl's grand mother who spoke to the online paper, said doctors had told her that there was nothing they could do about the sealed private part but that Prophet Magaya's anointing oil was all that was needed to work the miracle.

Buhari Appointed His ‘Daughter’ As INEC Chairman- PDP

The PDP’s National Publicity Secretary, Chief Olisa Metuh, has said his party would reject any election conducted by the Acting Chairman of Independent National Electoral Commission, Mrs. Amina Zakari, because she is a ‘daughter’ to the president head of state and her elections cannot be credible. Metuh said it is surprising to him and indeed the world that the president can appoint someone who is his daughter to such a position.

Lekki Robbery Suspect Sues Police From Jail; Seeks Damages In The Sum Of N1m

One of the four suspects paraded by the police in connection with the March 12, 2015 robbery of the Lekki branch of First City Monument Bank, Ebi Tosan, has sued the police, seeking damages in the sum of N1m.

The twenty-year-old, who was arrested on April 5, 2015, claimed that it was unlawful for the police to continue to keep him in detention without admitting him to bail.

Tosan, who was paraded by the police along with three others  – Duke Odogbo, 38; Lawrence Kingsley, 31; and Ekelemo Kuete, 30 – is therefore seeking a court order directing the police to immediately release him on bail.
