Suicide: Father jumps into the River with his 7 month old son

Police have ended their initial search for the body of a 7-month-old who may have plunged into the Connecticut River when his suicidal father jumped off the Arrigoni Bridge in Middletown late Sunday night.
Police said the baby's father, Tony Moreno, 22, of Middletown, called someone threatening suicide before jumping into the river around 11:45 p.m. Sunday. That person dialed 911 and told officers Moreno's baby boy, Aaden, was making noises in the background.

Arase NPM, fdc has mandated State Command Commissioners of Police to strengthen security at all Mosques, Churches and other worship centers across the country. Adequate security has also been ordered for venues where Moslems break-fast in the evenings. Worshipers are advised to be vigilant, and promptly report to the Police any suspicious persons or substance found in or around their environment.

Fresh facts have emerged in the Ikorodu banks robbery operation where N80 million was reportedly carted away a fortnight ago, following the discovery that 12 members of the gang were recruited from the Niger Delta region.

This is just as the four suspects arrested in connection with the operation, that lasted close to two hours, have confessed that their gang was responsible for similar operations at Ijede road three weeks before that of Ipakodo also at Ikorodu, and that of Lekki, where five persons, including three policemen, were killed.

Five Nigerian students in Malysia has been ordered by court to be detained for their alleged involvement in a N125.2m (RM2.4 million) internet fraud in Selangor & Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

According to local media reports, the 5 Nigerian students who are between the ages of 20 and 30 are undergraduates pursuing a degree in Information Technology in a leading University Kuala Lumpur. They were arrested on June 30, 2015.

Honda Now Commence Production Of Accord Cars In Nigeria

The World wide recognized Honda Motor Corporation says it has started building cars in Nigeria by retooling part of its factory that previously made motorcycles.

Takahiro Hachigo, the firm’s new chief executive, disclosed this on Monday in Tokyo at his first news conference since becoming CEO.

Hachigo, who was named CEO in June this year, said the company, which began production this month planned to produce 1,000 of its annually at the plant.
