Reason Why Senate President Bukola Saraki Visits Obasanjo

Earlier Today, Senate President Bukola Saraki led a delegation of Senators to meet former President Olusegun Obasanjo. The meeting took place inside Obasanjo's Presidential Hilltop Mansion in Abeokuta.

Bukola Saraki came in company of other notable politicians, such as Kawu Baraje, Olagunsoye Oyinlola, Andy Uba, Hamed Yerima, Danjuma Goje and Tayo Alaso-Adura while Journalists waited outside tillthe end of the meeting to know the outcome of their closed door meeting. Anyway, the meeting is over now and facts have emerged showing why he led the delegation of Senators to meet the formal president.

President Buhari Orders Sale Of 9 Presidential Aircrafts To Cut Cost

President Buhari has ordered the sale of 9 aircrafts from the presidential fleet.This is coming as reports have it that the presidential fleet with a number of 16 aircrafts is maintained with about N12 billion annually.

Aliko Dangote To Start Cement Factory In Asia

Aliko Dangote has expressed his desire to start a Cement empire in faraway Asia. According to the richest man in Africa, the project will commence in 30 months’ time. It has received 90 percent of the regulatory approvals needed to start construction in the south Asian nation.
‘’It’s going to be one of the first factories for us to build outside our comfort zone, outside Africa,’’ Dangote said, during a Tuesday interview at his Lagos office.

DSS To Publicly Apologizs, Release Islamic Cleric & Pay Him N1m - Court Orders

A Federal High court sitting in Abeokuta, Ogun State, on Thursday ordered the Department of the State Security Service to release an Islamic cleric, Ganiyu Ibrahim-Jimoh, who was arrested on suspicion of terrorism, from custody immediately, saying the agency does not possess unlimited power to keep him in custody indefinitely.

The court also ruled that the arrest and continued detention of the cleric by the Ogun state Command of DSS is not only “illegal and unconstitutional”, but also an “abuse of his fundamental human rights”.
