Xenophobia: Malawians to close all South African owned businesses in their country

All businesses owned by South Africans including Game, Shoprite, PEP and others in Malawi will be under lock and key today April 24th. Malawians are totally boycotting these businesses following the xenophobic attacks in South Africa. Two Malawians died during the attacks, many businesses owned by Malawians were destroyed and just 2 days ago, Wednesday April 22, 390 of them were repatriated to Malawi.

General Buhari Appoints #BringBackOurGirls Founder as Member of His Inauguration Committee

President-elect, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (retd.) has appointed Hadiza Bala Usman, the Founder of the #BringBackOurGirls crusade as a member of his Presidential Inauguration Planning Committee.

The inauguration committee is co-chaired by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator Pius Anyim; and a former Bayelsa State Governor, Chief Timpre Sylva.

Man Who Trekked For General Buhari Shares His Experience

In a new interview with Newsmen, Suleiman Hashimu who promised to walk from Lagos to Abuja if Buhari won, Suleiman Hashimu, has said some things that might interest you.

Hashimu, also called ‘the traveller’, has set a historical record as the first man to trek from Lagos to Abuja. The Traveller, a native of Katsina state, talked about his more than 2 weeks journey.

According to Hashimu, he was in Lagos when Buhari was announced the president-elect of Nigeria, so he left Lagos at about 5am the next day and arrived in Ibadan around 6pm.
