Oba of Lagos warns Igbos to vote for Ambode or Die?

Oba of Lagos, Rilwan Akiolu, has read the riot act to Igbo lead­ers and monarchs in Lagos State, warning that he will make life unbearable for them if they sabotage efforts being made to ensure that the governorship candidate of (APC) Mr. Akinwunmi Am­bode, emerges as the next governor of the state.

According to Sun,the monarch, who sum­moned all the Eze-Ndigbo in the state to his palace (pictured above),said the support of their kinsmen for the opposition party in the state could frustrate current ef­forts being made in all quarters to ensure that Lagos was no longer in opposition with the Federal Government. He said:
“On Saturday, if anyone of you goes against Ambode, who I picked, that is your end.
If it does not happen within seven days, just know that I am a bastard and it is not my father who gave birth to me.

BUHARI ISSUES WARNING: Stealing Is Now Corruption

The no-nonsense General has released his first warning shot. Nigeria’s president-elect Muhammadu Buhari has just declared that stealing is now corruption in Nigeria and would be treated as such.
Buhari said, “from now on let all be notified that stealing shall be corruption and likewise acts of corruption shall be regarded and dealt with as stealing. Let there be no ambiguity.”
In a press statement the former General said he will make all necessary arrangements to update all relevant state documents and educational materials in the country to that effect.

I got this as a comment on one of our posts from a blog reader with the username 'Vivi nana', and i decided to check it out... It is a video posted on Facebook showing a man allegedly in a Malaysian hospital,  that looked like he was dead. He was surrounded obviously by his friends who were complaining in Igbo language about how he was neglected and left to die, because he was black/Nigerian.. You could also hear a man shouting in Igbo language, saying:
"Wickedness upon wickedness... That is what we are facing here, in Malaysia... we were playing football and he fell.. We brought him to the hospital, and they just ignored us"

I am not a miracle worker, Do not expect miracles - Buhari

President elect, Muhmmadu Buhari, has asked Nigerians not to expect him to perform miracles once he assumes power come May 29th. Gen Buhari said this while speaking on the war against Boko Haram in an interview with BBC. According to Buhari, the triumph against the sect members would not be immediately achieved once he gets into power but said with cooperation from Neighboring countries and the commitment of the military, the war would be won in a short time
"For five, six years, the Nigerian enforcement law agencies, including the military, couldn’t secure 14 Local Governments. How can I promise miracles when I come?
