What Covenant University Did To 3 Students

Three students have been reportedly expelled by the authorities of Covenant University, Cannanland, Ota, Ogun State over sex-related activities. According to City People magazine, two of the students, a boy in 400-level and his 300-level girlfriend were expelled for “sex-alcohol unclad video on their phones”.

The third person was a postgraduate computer science student in the university. He was reportedly caught and filmed having sex with a 100-level girl in an office in College of Development Studies (CDS), which has a CCTV in the university.

ISIS Welcomes Boko Haram’s Pledge of Allegiance + Vows to Expand Influence to West Africa

The ISIS group has welcomed a pledge of allegiance made to it by Boko Haram, and have expressed intentions to expand its influence to West Africa.

ISIS through its spokesman, Mohammed al-Adnani, made the declaration via an audiotape released on Thursday, AFP reports.                
“We announce to you to the good news of the expansion of the caliphate to West Africa because the caliph… has accepted the allegiance of our brothers of the Sunni group for preaching and the jihad,” al-Adnani said.
