Nigeria’s Minister of Petroleum Resources Diezani Alison-Madueke has been announced as the new President of the Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC). She was elected today at the ongoing 166th General Meeting of the OPEC in Vienna, Austria.

Fast Guy! This dude got not one but four female prison officials pregnant while serving a 20 year jail sentence for attempted murder inside a Baltimore City Detention Centre. CBS Baltimore reports.

Prosecutors say he made $10,000 to $20,000 a week smuggling drugs and cell phones into the prison and befriended the female guards who helped to make his business easy. He rewarded them with s*x and got 4 pregnant. Two of the women even tattooed his name on their body.

Five officers of the corrupt prison, Tavon & two other inmates are now facing charges of conspiracy, drug distribution and money laundering.

Lebanese singing legend, Sabah dies at 87

Lebanese singer and actress Sabah, popularly known as the ‘Diva of Music’ in the Arab world, has died of an unspecified illness. She was 87. Sabah, the first Arab singer to perform at Olympia in Paris, Carnegie Hall in New York, Piccadilly Theater in London and the Sydney Opera House, has more than 50 albums to her credit and appeared in 98 movies as well as a number of stage plays.

Sabah retreated from public life in 2010 after reportedly losing control of her left hand and foot due to illness.

“Sad news today. The legendary singer Sabah died. With her passing away an entire beautiful past of Lebanon passes away,” Lebanese politician Walid Joumblatt tweeted on Wednesday morning. “She was a great singer of a Lebanon that my generation knew, that will never come back.

The Jos (Plateau state)-based Pa Okoye, who left Jos for Lagos some two weeks ago for a knee surgery, normally had respiratory (breathing) issues, which many believe might have led to his death.
He had an appointment with his doctor today (Tuesday, November 25, 2014) over his recent knee surgery. Before his death, he had sat upon a thriving ‘pure water’ and bakery business in Jos.
