Boko Haram Kill 48 In Borno Fresh Attack

Boko Haram terrorists have killed 48 people in Borno State according to reports. The attack occurred on Friday, November 21, in Doron Baga near the border with Chad and the casualties were a group of fish vendors.

According to eyewitnesses, some of the villagers had their throats slit while others were shot.
Head of the Fish traders association, Abubakar Gamandi told AFP:

“Scores of Boko Haram fighters blocked a route linking Nigeria with Chad near the fishing village of Doron Baga on the shores of Lake Chad on Thursday and killed a group of 48 fish traders on their way to Chad to buy fish.”

This comes as President Goodluck Jonathan told a meeting of Nigeria's Honorary International Investment Council (HIIC) in London that the war against Boko Haram is being won in the country. Pulse reports

Chad President's Associate Arrested With Missiles Meant For Boko Haram

A Cameroonian investigative journalist, Bisong Etahoben, is reporting via twitter the arrest of Mahamat Bichara Gnoti, a close associate of Chadian President IIdriss Déby Itno. Mr. Gnoti was reportedly arrested on the Chadian-Sudan border with 19 SAM2 missiles he purchased from the Sudanese army meant for Boko Haram terrorist in northeastern Nigeria.

Mr. Gnoti who claimed that President Idriss Déby gave him the funds to purchase the weapons, had waved a presidential pass issued to him by Mr. Deby’s office in order to get past border guards but was stopped and searched by the guards who found the deadly weapons on him.

There has not been an official confirmation or denial either by the Chadian or the Nigerian authorities. A text message sent to the office of Colonel Sambo Dasuki (rtd), the National Security Adviser in Nigeria regarding Gnoti’s arrest did not receive a response, an aide said Mr. Dasuki is traveling in Mexico.

"Why Jonathan’s Performance is below Average" - Olusegun Obasanjo Reveals

The Former president spoke during an encounter with book writers in Abeokuta, Ogun State, as part of activities marking the popular Ake Festival.

When asked of his view on Jonathan’s administration, he said, "His performance is below average. I will not accept responsibility for his performance. There is nobody that gets such a position without being helped."

The former President also debunked the insinuations that he had selected Jonathan as the running mate to the late President Musa Yar’Adua because he knew the latter was sick.

"Yar’Adua told me he was well. He showed me his medical report and I even consulted experts," he said.

He said he had only supported the idea of a South-Southerner succeeding Yar’Adua to extend the sense of belonging that the emergence of a Southern President in 1999 represented.

Hmm..D'banj Dragged To Court Over N45Millio Debt

D'banj aka Eja Nla has been dragged to court by a Technology company, MindHub Technologies who is claiming he is owing them the sum of $240,000 and another N15,000,000, which the artiste has not denied but issued them post-dated cheques which were bounced back.

MindHub Technologies who now speaks with D’banj through their lawyers after all efforts made by them for him to pay proved abortive said D’banj has only deemed it fit since last year to pay only N8,600,000 out of the N15,000,000 and has not paid a single penny from the $240,000.

"We act as Solicitors to MINDHUB TECHNOLOGIES LTD (hereinafter called “OUR CLIENT”), and on whose instruction we write you this letter in the manner stated hereunder. It is our brief that sometime in January 2013 in Lagos, you signed a Personal Guarantee/Memorandum of Undertaking with our client wherein you agreed/undertook to pay our client the investment fund of N100,000,000.00k (One Hundred Million Naira Only) given to D KINGS MEDIA LIMITED by our client, should the latter default in payment of the debt. The said debt is made up of Nigerian and United States of America’s currencies,” the letter addressed to him stated.

28 Non-Muslims Shot Dead By al-Shabaab Terrorists Who Failed To Recite Quran

Islamic militants al-Shabaab executed 28 non-Muslims at point-blank range in a revenge attack for police raids on mosques in the troubled city of Mombasa after they attacked a bus travelling to the capital Nairobi from Mandera with 60 passengers was hijacked yesterday November 22.

The extremists allegedly separated Muslims from the non-Muslims by forcing them to read verses from the Quran. Those that failed to read were shot at point-blank range.

Gunmen waved down the bus before spraying it with bullets when it did not stop. They then shot a rocket-propelled grenade at the vehicle, before commandeering the bus off the road. The militants then ordered the non-Muslims to reboard the bus before fleeing to Somalia. More photos below...
