World's Tallest And Shortest Man Meets For The First Time (See Photos)

The world’s shortest man, Chandra Bahadur Dangi met the world’s tallest man, Sultan Kosen for the very first time today, November 13, 2014 in London, England.

Chandra, who is from Nepal is 54.6 cm (21.5 inches) tall. Sultan, who hails from Turkey, is 251 cm (8 ft 3 inches) tall.

UPDATE: Vigilantes recapture Mubi Town, chase Boko Haram

Reports coming from the troubled North East Nigeria is that local militia in Adamawa State have driven the dreaded Boko Haram militants out of Mubi, a key town in the northeast state, nearly two weeks after the town fell to the terrorists.

The Adamawa State governor and residents on Thursday confirmed this latest development.

“Some of them (Boko Haram) ran away through Askira Uba and others through Mubi South and the situation in Mubi now is quite different from what it used to be.”

A spokesperson to Governor Bala Ngilari told Premium Times that Mubi is now quite different from what it used to be. He said local vigilante, popularly called Civilian JTF, launched a daring night time attack on Boko Haram terrorist in Mubi and drove them out.

Can you let us into your background? 
I’m  a Chinese but grew up in Malaysia. I’m from a non-Christian home but there was a small population of Christians there. Most were Buddhists, so there were many temples where idols were worshipped. Buddhism is an ancient religion while Christianity was regarded as Western religion. I lost my mother as a teenager, my father therefore took another wife. My father is a businessman and  also runs  a big farm, so we were quite comfortable. He spent his money mainly on educating us.

NAFDAC Workers Embark On NationWide Strike

Workers of the National Agency for Food Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) under the Medical and Health Workers Union of Nigeria (MHWUN) on Wednesday embarked on a nationwide strike.

However, the Director-General of NAFDAC, Dr Paul Orhii has threatened to ‘cure the cause of the strike’ by stopping all training programmes for NAFDAC workers as such claims to unpaid allowances emanate from claims from travels for trainings. Declaring an indefinite strike at the premises of the agency in Lagos, the State Chairman, MHWUN, Stephen Ibe directed workers to immediately vacate the premises of the agency.

To this end, all NAFDAC offices at the seaports, land ports, airports have been shut indefinitely.

“All other offices of NAFDAC remain closed. It is not a warning strike. It is not JOHESU (strike). Workers can only resume when their 2012 and 2013 salary arrears are paid. Other demands include payment of first 28 days after employment, travelling allowances, conversion of HND holders, implementation of CONHESS among others.”

The 27-year-old hit out at Kim's recent n ude photoshoot for Paper Magazine, by commenting on the Instagram picture saying; You’re someone’s mother’, not just a mother but the mama of North West, Naya Rivera had thrown shade at Kim Kardashian over her naked magazine cover on Instagram.

It was on Wednesday that Kim revealed this racy cover ‘Paper Magazine new cover alert! – such a honor to work with the legendary Jean-Paul Goude!!!!’ she wrote.

Naya also added; ‘Shot this in Paris. Can’t wait for you to see the the whole issue,” Kim promised, sharing the fully dressed cover on Instagram.’
