Nigeria Blasts US Over War Against Boko Haram

Disappointed by the refusal of the United States to help Nigeria procure military weapons to combat Boko Haram, the federal government has now openly expressed its dissatisfaction with the American government decision, arguing that the Americans were letting Nigeria down at her hour of need, Empowered Newswire reports.

While receiving a delegation of the U.S. Council on Foreign Relations yesterday, the Nigerian Ambassador to the United States, Professor Ade Adefuye said both the Nigerian people and the government feel abandoned by America.

“I am sad to inform you that the Nigerian leadership: military and political, and even the general populace, are not satisfied with the scope, nature and content of the United States’ support for us in our struggle against terrorists.”

Chidinma opened up about the challenges she encountered as a little child as she promotes her new song 'Martha'.

I was conceived and certified totally Blind at birth. For fifteen nights this woman held me in her hands and wept uncontrollably, with my father calling on God to bless newly born Chidinma with sight.... On the 16th day I opened my eyes.... And they been open ever since.. I was born a very fragile baby with some health conditions. Her prayers took it all away.

Today I dedicate my entire life selflessly and earnings to catering to visually impaired/blind people. Life is such a wonderful and colorful piece of art and it must feel like hell not to envision Gods creation. THE Mma Charity Foundation is my little giveback the world

Video shows Boko Haram leader Shekau preaching, Display Control Of Captured Towns In Northeastern Nigeria

The video above was obtained by SaharaReporters showing Boko Haram leader Abubakar Shekau preaching to locals in captured towns in the North east of Nigeria. The deadly militant sect in firmly in control of major towns in Yobe, Adamawa and Borno states. The video also shows the brazen display of military weapons seized by the sect from Nigerian troops.

A Nigerian soldiers was also seen fighting for his life in a hand combat with Boko Haram militants that eventually led to his death at the at hands of the sect. Brave soldier indeed. Watch!
