Ugandan Woman Served Cooked Condom Sauce To Drunk Husband

A Ugandan woman has sparked controversy after she cooked three packets of condoms and served them to her husband as sauce. The housewife and mother-of-three served the “meal” to her husband, identified as Okello Ocekilec, with charcoal after he returned home drunk.

The couple, resident in Arao ‘A’ at Ogwang Acuma parish, Aboke Sub-county in Kole, had been involved in repeated domestic fights after which the wife put the condoms in a saucepan and fried them with oil and other ingredients and presented it to her husband in revenge, the Daily Monitor reports.

But for the timely intervention of the locals, the former deputy Governor of Bayelsa State, Peremobowei Ebebi, would have died in a boat mishap that claimed four persons in the state on Saturday. While Ebebi lived to tell the story, an officer of the Department of State Security (DSS) was reportedly not fortunate, as he was said to be among the dead casualties.

The DSS officer, before the incident, was attached to the office of the state Project Monitoring Department located along the Imgbi Road, Bayelsa State. He was said to have escorted the head of the department, Mr. Ball Oyarede, who is aspiring for a seat in the state House of Assembly, to Ekeremor Local Government Area for the just concluded ward congresses of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Oyarede, a former Commissioner for Land and Housing and former state Representative, Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), is the Special Adviser to the Governor on Special Duties.
While returning from the ward congress, a boat the DSS officer and Ebebi boarded at the Ekeremor Town jetty overturned before taking off and emptied its occupants into the water.

Fresh Attack! Boko Haram kills scores of Christians in Adamawa

Boko Haram militants struck a fresh attack today on Sabon Gari, a village in Adamawa state which is predominantly inhabited by Christians, in the early hours of today. Sahara Reporters reports

Residents of the village, which is on the border of Borno and Adamawa state, said several members of their community were slaughtered by the sect men as they were heading to church this morning.

Nigerian troops were reported to have fled the area days back after Mubi, the second biggest in Adamawa state was captured by the militants.

5 Military Commanders Detained For Allowing Boko Haram Take Over Mubi

According to Sahara reporters, 5 military commanders have been handcuffed and detained at the military police guard room at the 23 Brigade headquarters in Yola Adamawa state for abandoning Mubi in Adamawa state to Boko Haram militants last Wednesday.

The commander whose names and ranks were given as Colonel Ibrahim, Lt. Colonel Magaji and three others abandoned the 213 Brigade headquarters a few minutes after Boko Haram militants reached Mararaba and Hildi on the outskirts of Mubi.
