Shocking Details! See How Nigerian Soldiers Killed 34 People In Zaria

Islamic Human Rights Commission (IHRC) has released a report accusing the Nigerian soldiers of killing 34 defenceless peaceful members of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria in Zaria between July 25 and 26, Premium Times informs. According to the report, the members of the group, led by prominent Islamic cleric, Ibrahim El-Zakzaky, were murdered while they were marching along the streets of Zaria in Kaduna State. Besides, more than 100 others were injured.

The report consists of the interviews with victims, their families and witnesses. The IHRC fact-finding team states that report has unimpeachable evidence to prove that many of those arrested died in military custody, unable to withstand the brutality they were subjected to by the soldiers.

Dbanj And Don Jazzy Set To Work Together Again

D’banj & Don Jazzy will finally be working together again. D’banj has plans to make a 10th anniversary album, and revealed his former Mo-Hits partner would be on it.

“Ten years ago, October 4, 2004 to be precise, I got on stage to perform for the first time and now ten years later D’banj has become a brand. Don Jazzy worked with me from the beginning and I can tell you for sure that my 10th anniversary album will drop soon and there are many producers on it, including Don Jazzy,” D’banj said in a telephone interview with Beat FM.

South Africa Government Returns Seized $15m to Nigeria

The South African Ambassador to Nigeria, Lulu Mnguni, said in a news conference on Friday that the $15m earlier seized from some Nigerians by the South African Government had been released to Nigeria. The South African Government had, on September 5, 2014, seized $9.3m cash belonging to Nigeria and a month later seized another $5.7m, claiming that both funds were to be used for illegal purchase of arms, thecable.ng reported.

However, Nigeria’s National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki, said the transactions were legal, urging the South African Government to stop actions that could degenerate to a diplomatic showdown. The South African Government on October 14, 2014 said it would return the money to Nigeria.

Synagogue Church Building Collapse: TB Joshua Set To Give Families Of Victims $4,500 Each

The General Overseer of Synagogue Church Of All Nations, Prophet T.B Joshua has said through the church spokesperson, Kirsten nematandani that, the church will be giving 50,000rand ($4500/N750, 000 in Nigerian currency) to South African victims who lost their lives during the September 12 guest house collapse in the church premises.

"The church has pleaded with the Nigerian government to expedite the repatriation process in order for families to bury the deceased with dignity and receive closure.
"We have done a full audit of each family's financial needs and assisted with various household expenses, as many of the deceased were breadwinners."

The SCOAN church is donating a sum of 50,000 rand to each victim’s family for various expenses, he said.

Mob Sets Lecturer Ablaze for Killing 5 Pupils in Auto Crash

Alhaji Kassimu Umar, a Lecturer at the Taraba College of Education (COE) Zing, was on Friday burnt to death in a mob action after he allegedly hit and killed five primary school pupils with a vehicle he was driving.

Mr Joseph Kwaji, the Police Public Relations officer (PPRO), of the Taraba Police Command confirmed the incident in Jalingo. He said that the mob forcefully removed Umar from the Pupule Police Outpost, where he went to report the incident, and the mob burnt him to death.

“In the early hours of today, one Kassimu Umar, who is believed to be a lecturer with COE, Zing had knocked down five primary school pupils in Zing, who all died on the spot. After he reported the incident to the Pupule Police Outstation, irate youths in their hundreds, stormed the station, dragged him out and lynched him.
