Nollywood actress, Ini Edo is stoking the fire of speculation all over after being seen in different complexions as far as appearances go. For most, this would mean she could be one of the customers of Dencia whose Whitenecious cream has become an euphemisim for bleaching.

The actress who has been known for her dark dainty complexion took to her Instagram page to post a photo which prompted a fan to question her new look and ask if she has gone on the bleaching lane.

South African Coach Nabbed At Lagos Airport For Drugs Trafficking (Photo)

A 38-year old South African Football coach, Steven Darlugar(picture above) has been arrested by the men of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, for trying to smuggle drug out of Nigeria to South Africa. Sadly, Darlugar said they promised to pay him $6,000 if he succeeded in smuggling the drugs.


He had neatly packaged the drugs weighing 1.54 kilogrammes in a compartment before the officials at the airport unravelled his gimmick during the screening of Arik Air passengers on board to South Africa.

Upon interrogation, Darlugar, a married father of one confessed he was under financial pressure to cope with peers and he had worked hard to make it, but it all turned futile.

In an interview with SaharaTV, Channel O VJ, Denrele Edun has revealed that his late music star friend, Susan Bimpe Harvey, popularly known known as Goldie kept appearing in his dreams, telling him he knows the person responsible for her death but has not done anything about it.

"I kept seeing her in my dreams and she keeps telling me you know who killed me and you are not doing anything about it. I’m not kidding. Plateau State Police Command has paraded a man who had sold his wife to ritual killers for N800, 000 in his bid to get rich quick. State Police commissioner, Nasiru Oki who paraded the suspect, revealed that one Maimako Shephang of Kwalla village in Shendam local government area of the state had in August this year, at about 3.00pm lured his wife who was identified as Agnes to the bush and on getting there, handed over her to two masked men.

Who Wan Die? 15 Soldiers Get 4yrs Jail Sentence for refusing to fight Boko Haram

15 Nigeria soldiers who refused orders to report at the war front in Adamawa State have been sentenced to four year jail terms. The sentencing of the officers, who had been in detention for over three weeks, was done on Wednesday, 18 September, at the 23rd Armoured Brigade, in Yola by the military command.

The men were found guilty of insubordination and refusal to face the Boko Haram insurgents in the northern parts of the state. A military source disclosed that the affected soldiers were those who ran away when Boko Haram attacked their duty posts and fled back to the cantonment. The source said:

"The soldiers had allegedly refused the orders of their superiors to draft back to the theatre of war. In the military tradition, a soldier is expected to obey the last order but the 15 soldiers convicted by the military command were adjudged to have committed acts of insubordination by their refusal to draft to the warfront."

Actor, Adebayo Salami Finally Reveals How He Got The Name ‘OGA BELLO’

Youba veteran Actor, Adebayo Aremu Salami was born on May 9, 1953 in Lagos, a renowned Nigerian Yoruba actor. Mr. Salami is a native of Ilorin, Kwara state. Though he was born in Lagos and grew up in Lagos. He started acting at the age of 11 years in 1964 with a group called Young Concert Party lead by Ojo Ladipo Theatre Group which was later named Awada Kerikeri Theatre Group.

Adebayo went into acting because he developed interest in entertainment having watched several entertainment programs while growing up on the Island in Lagos. He was greatly inspired by watching television serial by late Huber Ogunde called the Village Doctor.

NAFDAC vows to prosecute LUTH Professor who claimed Ewedu Soup cures Ebola

National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control, NAFDAC, has decried the bogus claims that Ewedu can cure Ebola.While revealing that over 104 brands of fake sanitisers and Ebola Test kits have been seized,with the businessmen arrested , the Director General of NAFDAC ,Dr. Paul Orhi rubbished the claim by  Prof Adebukola Adefule Oshitelu, a professor of Ophthalmology from the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH), that Ewedu soup could cure Ebola.(Read It Here)

One consequence of these unsupported and possibly fraudulent claims is that people may be misled into a false sense of invincibility on account of eating Ewedu or bitter kola and drop their guards.

Synagogue Church Officially Release Statement On Building Collapse, says it was an attack

Many people have been doubting Prophet TB Joshua's video that a suspicious aircraft flew over the building in his church on four occasions, at close intervals and close range, before the building collapsed within their premises on Friday September 12th which has so far claimed over 77 lives. They say it was an attack on the church and in particular, their leader, T.B Joshua and have vowed to reveal the persons behind it. Nigeria stops gas supply to Ghana

Individuals and businesses were inform to brace themselves up for more power outages in the coming days, following the decision of the Nigerian authorities to stop gas supplies to Ghana. The decision, which took effect from yesterday, followed labour unrest in Nigeria.

According to Ghanaweb:

“The Nigerian authorities communicated this bad news to us this afternoon. We are working out emergency measures to forestall adverse effects on individuals and industry,” a highly placed source at the Ministry of Energy and Petroleum told the Daily Graphic in Accra yesterday.

“What the stoppage of gas flow to Ghana means is that the Asogli Power Plant will shut down because it runs only on gas,” it said.

The Asogli Power Plant was augmenting Ghana’s energy needs with an average of 180 megawatts (MW).

Ex-Governor Ali Modu Sheriff of Borno State said he defected from the All Progressives Congress (APC) to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in order to help end the numerous problems facing his state, especially the insurgency fueled by Boko Haram, a terror group sworn to eradicate western education and values.

Mr. Sheriff, who was recently named by an Australian hostage negotiator, Stephen Davis, as one of the main sponsors and financiers of Boko Haram, spoke in the Borno State capital of Maiduguri amid tight security.

The former governor, who later became a senator, was in the city to pay a condolence visit to his close political associate, Kashim Iman. Speaking at his palatial residence in Maiduguri, Mr. Sheriff accused his detractors in Maiduguri of hatching the allegation by Mr. Davis. The former governor had invited a few reporters to his home in Maiduguri for a press briefing. He said it was a great unkindness to link him with the scourge of Boko Haram in Nigeria.

The Weird World Of Teenage Cultists In Edo, Nigeria

Cultism is one of the major problems confronting Edo State and, of course, any Commissioner of Police posted to the state. The rate at which youths in the state, particularly in Benin-City, “blend” into different cult groups is so worrisome to law enforcement agents who try to stop them, some times during initiations, at the late hours of the night.

But the situation is more worrisome in Benin-City, after the police command in the state discovered that teenagers are being initiated into two cult groups. Eiye Confrarnity and Hallah of the Night.

Last week in Benin-City, Edo State Police Commissioner, Funso Adebanjo, paraded 15 youths, between ages 13 and 15, suspected of being cultists, with different arms and ammunition. The suspects were said to have been arrested at Unewa village near Uromi and Ologbo town respectively, and confessed to being members of  Eiye Confraternity and Hallah of the Night. Some of the items recovered from them include two battle axes, one Eiye Confraternity flag and a calabash.

Spokesman for the commission, Wilson Uwujaren, who gave the identities of the suspects as Victor Uwadiale and Captain Nnaji Everest, said they were arrested separately by the operatives in Festac area and another part of the state.

Uwujaren described Uadiale as the principal suspect and arrow head of an international syndicate, which specialised in defrauding international businessmen seeking investment opportunities in Nigeria.

Rwandan Senate President Resigns After Being Accused Of Incompetence!

Jean-Damascene Ntawukuriryayo, resigned on Wednesday after he was accused of incompetence. He resigned after senators accused him of creating administrative blockages in the upper house of parliament, and of illegally hiring staff. Ntawukuriryayo heads the Social Democratic Party, the country’s second-biggest party, which is in a coalition government with President Paul Kagame‘s Rwandan Patriotic Front.

Some analysts said his departure could be linked to his close relations with former Prime Minister Pierre Habumuremyi who was sacked in July. Habumuremyi has denied allegations that he had connections with the Congo-based rebel movement Democratic Forces for the Liberation of Rwanda which has staged attacks in Rwanda and was succeeded by his deputy, Bernard Makuza.
