KCee denied his wife on the widely watched show, TheJuice with Toolz. During the period of the interview, KCee and his wife, Ijeoma Okonkwo were already separated and Ijeoma was already living in Germany with their two kids.

According to a source, Ijeoma and KCee began to have problems shortly after their marriage when every bird in town was singing to IJ’s ears that her husband was already back in the hands of his former Nollywood lover. This made Ijeoma quit the marriage and that was one of the main reasons he denied them on TheJuice, the source stated.

"I was coming from Abeokuta with a friend in his car. I think they didn't tighten the bolt of the tyre very well. By the time we were around Mowe, the tyre gave way and the car tumbled and the glass scattered. My friend was seriously injured. I was also injured but not as badly. After the accident, I couldn't walk very well. I was treated and a few weeks I had to walk around with a stick. I dropped the stick three days ago. I'm a lot better now.

'Reduce Our Fees Now Or Lose 2015 Governorship Election' - OOU Students threatens Amosun!

The students of the Olabisi Onabanjo University, OOU, which was shut down last month have warned Ogun State Governor, Ibikunle Amosun, that he might lose the 2015 governorship election in the state if he doesn’t listen to them and rescind his decision on their increased school fees.

The student president in a press conference held yesterday in Lagos, said the increased in school fees will make thousands of students drop out, as most of them will be unable to pay the new fess. How logical is this, he asked. Continue below...

FG to ban “Pomo” hides and skin!

Federal Government may have concluded plans to ban sale and widespread consumption of hides and skins(PONMO)which is a delicacy to most Nigerians.

This indication emerged Tuesday  when the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Dr. Akinwunmi Adesina called for competent regulations that would check the consumption and sale of the product. He said this at the 3rd joint anniversary of Animal Science Association of Nigeria (ASAN) and Nigeria Institute of Animal Science held at the University of Ibadan.

If this is achieved, he noted that livestock farmers would stand good chances of making high dollar return if the hides and skins are tanned into leather.

Ebola: FG Declares First Consultants Hospital Fit to Reopen

After six weeks of forced closure, First Consultants Medical Centre, the hospital in Lagos which treated Nigeria's Ebola index case, Patrick Sawyer, has finally been issued a Certification of Decontamination by the federal government and given the green light to reopen for business.

In two letters from the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) and the Lagos State Commissioner for Health, Dr. Jide Idris, which were exclusively obtained by THISDAY, both parties notified First Consultants that it had been cleared to reopen for business, having undergone three rounds of state-certified decontamination processes.

US Air Marshall Quarantined after being attacked with syringe in Lagos airport!

The FBI and CDC are investigating an attack on a federal air marshal who was injected with a syringe full of an unknown substance inside the Lagos, Nigeria airport on Sunday. The air marshal was traveling with a team of other marshals when the attack took place in an unsecured area of the airport terminal in Lagos.

He was able to board the United Airlines flight to Houston he was scheduled to work and was met in Houston by FBI agents and health workers.Amid fears the substance could contain some form of the Ebola virus, the air marshal was immediately put into quarantine. The FBI said he was screened "on-scene... out of an abundance of caution.

Update: Obasanjo's son in stable condition after being shot by Boko Haram

Former President, Olusegun Obasanjo's son Adeboye Obasanjo who was shot injuries yesterday September 8th by Boko Haram men after his platoon was attacked in Baza, Adamawa state is said to be in stable condition after being treated in hospital. 24 soldiers were reportedly killed during the attack which saw the army lose an armored tank to the sect members. We killed over 100 Boko Haram fighters – Cameroon

The Cameroonian government has said its soldiers had killed over 100 Boko Haram fighters during an attempted incursion by the Nigeria-based fighters into its territory. The Cameroonian army has dealt “a severe setback” to Boko Haram, government spokesman Issa Tchiroma Bakary said in a statement read out on state radio on Monday, adding that the clashes took place in the north of the country on Saturday.

It was not immediately possible to independently verify the information.
According to the government statement, Boko Haram fighters fired two shells on the town of Fotokol in Cameroon’s northern tip, on the border with Nigeria, at around 1:00 pm (1200 GMT) on Saturday.

Female Student R*ped Three Times by Soldier in Ibadan

A 23-year-old National Diploma, ND, student of Mass Communication Department, Ibarapa Polytechnic in Ibadan on Monday narrated how she was r*ped under a tree by one of the security men attached to Operation Burst set up by the state government to check criminality in the state.

The sad incident happened in Eruwa around 10.30pm on August 29 while she was returning after seeing off a friend. She said she was r*ped for five hours before she was let off the hook by the soldier.

Ebola: Doctors Oppose September 22nd Schools’ Resumption Date

The Nigeria Medical Association (NMA) is opposing the federal government’s decision to move schools’ resumption date from October 12th to September 22nd. Recall that last month, the Federal Government had ordered that all primary and secondary schools in the country should resume in October, instead of the usual September resumption, due to the current Ebola outbreak in the country.

However, last week,  the government made a new announcement, stating that schools should resume on September 22nd due to the fact that “Nigeria has achieved about 90 percent success in the fight against the dreaded Ebola virus disease.”

The NMA is opposing the decision to restore the September 22nd date, because they believe that schools should stay shut until all those under surveillance for Ebola are certified Ebola-free.

Hit & Run driver crushes LAWMA official to death in Lagos (Photo)

A hit-and-run driver of a jeep knocked down two highway managers of the Lagos State Waste Management Agency on Monday along Iyana Oworo Expressway in the state.

Punch learnt that although the driver managed to escape, the vehicle’s number plate fell in the process and had been handed over to security officials.It was gathered that the driver, who was on top speed, wanted to beat the traffic snarl when he rammed into the victims, identified as Lateefat Sulyman and Fatimoh Ajetunmobi.

Sulyman (popularly called Iya Tawa) was crushed to death while Ajetunmobi was said to have been rushed to a hospital.

As the rampaging Boko Haram insurgents continue their attacks in Northern Nigeria, towards Maiduguri, it seems Nigerian soldiers are nearing the giving up stage, with soldiers deserting and thousands of innocent Nigerians in the areas fleeing the towns and villages.

At night, a resident said he was awake and heard gun shots from a distance. “Nobody can sleep anymore,” the resident of Maiduguri township, who wanted to remain anonymous, confirmed.
