OSUN ELECTION: READ What Omisore Has To Say After Defeat!

The Flagbearer of the Peoples’ Democratic Party at the just concluded Osun state gubernatorial elections, Senator Iyiola Omisore has told newsmen that he is still seeking information from relevant authorities before making any comments on the election.

The former senator, who was beaten hands down by the gubernatorial candidate of the All progressives Congress with about 101, 937 votes revealed to newsman that he is still consulting relevant stakeholders  as a committed party man. Vanguard reports that the PDP flag bearer spoke on phone through his spokesman, Mr Diran Odeyemi, refusing to comment on the outcome of the election not until after his consultations. Diran said: “ Omisore is not a tin god.“ He is a committed party man and 24 hours is too short to engage in widespread consultation. “ Consultation is on with our men on the field, meetings are already on and as soon as all these are concluded, we would issue a formal statement on the development.’’

Expressing  gratitude to God for the sustained peace before, during and after the election, he praised the people of the state for coming out en mass  to exercise their franchise.

48 passengers and crew Dead As Plane crash outside Tehran in Iran kills

This morning August 10th, reports from top source made it clear that 48 people, including 40 passengers and 8 crew were killed when a small passenger plane crashed shortly after take off from Mehrabad Airport in Tehran, the capital of Iran, Iranian state TV reports.

The plane, an Antonov An-140, designed for short domestic flights, was traveling from Tehran to the northeastern city of Tabas when it went down in a residential area. At least five children were on board the plane. Five people on the ground were burnt to death. Iran's aviation authority cited engine failure as the cause of the crash. This is the first major crash in Iran since 2011.

This year has really been bad for air travel. At least five commercial airline crashes in 6 months and over 800 killed.

Ebola: TB Joshua sends 4000 anointing water + $100,000 As Humanitarian Aid To Sierra Leone

Prophet TB Joshua of SCOAN is said to be the first paster in Nigeria to take actions such as this one. The popular Nigeria announced in his service that he has sent 4,000 bottles of ‘Anointing Water’ to the people of Sierra Leone and the materials were received by ‘government officials’, to spiritually fortify the country in their fight against the deadly Ebola disease.

According to TB Joshua, a private jet was chartered to the tune of $50,000 to convey the spiritual items to the Ebola-stricken nation. An additional $50,000 was also given in humanitarian aid to the victims of the disease, courtesy of the Prophet and his ‘Emmanuel TV Partners’.

Winner!! Aregbesola Declared Winner; Returns As Osun State Governor

Rauf Aregbesola, governor of Osun state and the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in August 9 governorship election in Osun has been declared winner of the poll by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

In the results announced by the returning officer, who is also the Vice Chancellor Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, Professor Bamitale Omole, Aregbesola won in 22 Local Government Areas, while Senator Iyiola Omisore, flag bearer of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) won in 8 Councils in the state. Aregbesola, who won majority of the poll had 394,684 votes against Omisore’s 292,747 votes.
