Finally!! Mikel Obi Opens Up On Relationship With Genevieve Nnaji

Nigerian midfielder and Chelsea soccer star — Mikel Obi has openly praised Nollywood veteran actress, Genevieve Nnaji; Mikel says she is a very lovely person. Mikel Obi and Genevieve Nnaji sparked romance rumors when the pair began their working relationship after they were both signed by Amstel Malta as ambassadors. Mikel spoke about the screen diva during an event organized for the Nigerian Breweries brand in Lagos.
He said:
“We work together, it’s a working relationship”. “We endorsed Amstel Malta together, she’s a very nice person; I spoke to her a few times and she’s a very lovely person.
The Chelsea midfielder is currently in a romantic relationship with a Russian woman and he sparked possible wedding rumours when he confessed to being in love with his Russian sweetheart.

You can remember that during Peter traditional wedding to Lola Omotayo last year, not only did his older brother Jude Okoye not attend, he also posted a picture on his instagram page showing that he was in a studio in Lagos. Well, it's pay back time! Not only is Peter Okoye not attending Jude's wedding, he also posted a photo on his instagram page showing that he's in Lagos and not in Anambra. He hadn't updated his instagram page since July 13th but posted this photo above some moments ago to LET US KNOW that he is NOT at the wedding. What can you say is going on???

Mandela’s Daughter - My Father's Suffering Was Painful To Watch


In an exclusive interview with CNN,  Nelson Mandela’s daughter Maki has talked about her father’s suffering in the final months of his life. Speaking to CNN’s Robyn Curnow – the only international journalist to broadcast live from Nelson Mandela’s funeral – Maki asserted that while his medical team treated him with dignity and respect, his death came as a relief after the agonising struggle his health had faced.
"There were times I was telling the doctors I think enough is enough,” she said. “As doctors they had their duty to try everything up to the last moment, but for me as a daughter it was excruciating watching that."
Maki also talked about plans for the family to open Mandela’s grave to visitors in a year or so, with plans in place for a visitors' center and memorial garden, where tourists will be able to walk around the grave and see it from a viewing point.

Heart-breaking Photos: Malaysia Airlines passenger jet crash in Ukraine, 295 dead!

Tragedy has struck again in the now notorious Malaysian Airline as another of its passenger jet has crashed in the Ukrainian border with Russia, killing all 295 persons on board. The plane, Flight MH17 was enroute from Amsterdam to Kaula Lumpur when it disappeared from radar screens.

Security sources are saying it is possible the plane was shot down by a ground-to-air missile. More photos after the cut...

Pastor Kumuyi Comments On Ban Of iOS And Android Devices In His Church


Deeper Life Bible Church General Overseer, Pastor W.F. Kumuyi, has come out and debunked earlier reports that he had banned the use of iPads, iPhones and other mobile devices in his church. The Man of God denied he had ever made such remarks in a bold-titled statement named “THIS REPORT IS FALSE” released on his Facebook page. Pastor Kumuyi denied making such statements, putting a ban on mobile devices and claimed the inital report was HIGHLY MISCHIEVOUS and MISLEADING.

Fifa Ban Update: Court Quashes Ruling, Nigeria Due for Recall


A high court in Jos has reportedly vacated an order restraining the Aminu Maigari led board of the Nigeria Football Federation from running the country’s football. Fifa banned Nigeria last week for what it described as a direct interference by third parties in settling football disputes, after the NFF Executive Committee led by Maigari were ordered to quit office. Sports Minister Tamuno Danagogo had subsequently appointed a sole administrator for the federation following the court order.

Fifa gave Nigeria Thursday deadline to quash the regional court ruling and fully reinstate its football ExCos. Maigari and the NFF ExCos are now expected to return to office to consequentially allow the world football governing body overturn its decision to exclude Nigeria from international football.

Source made it clear made it clear that the NFF secretary general Musa Amadu has immediately communicated Fifa of these developments. Fifa are also expected to allow the country’s team feature at the Fifa Under-20 Women’s World Cup in Canada.

Beware of Suya – CAN Warns Christians


THE Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, South East zone, has alleged that the Northern Islamist sect, Boko Haram and its sponsors had concluded plans to declare a Jihad against the Southern part of the country with the deployment of over 6,000 fundamentalists to the South to prosecute the war. The association also claimed that part of the plot for the mass killing of Christians in the South was the alleged importation of a poisonous powder which Hausa suya sellers would use to poison the meat they sell as part of the Jihad, warning the people of the South to be careful about eating suya henceforth.

Chairman of CAN in the zone and Anglican Bishop of Enugu Diocese, Bishop Emmanuel Chukwuma, who raised the alarm at a briefing after the meeting of the association at All Saint’s Cathedral, Enugu, last month condemned the Sunday bombings of churches which claimed over 40 lives, saying it had on good authority that it had declared war on Christians as part of the agenda to Islamize Nigeria.

He said: “We have information and documents to show that this is a Jihad being sponsored and we have our documents to show where they have dispatched 2,000 people to prepare for Jihad to South East, 2,500 to South-South and about 2,000 to South West. Continue...
