Nigerians in Malaysia today took to the streets to protest against what they call extortion, torture and abuse of Nigerian nationals by Malaysian police and immigration officers. They marched to the Nigerian embassy and accused officials of refusing to issue or renew their passports when needed. The awesome gospel singer, Ayefele, was shocked when he learnt that fire rocked down his multi-million naira mansion on Tuesday morning at about 6:15 a.m . We currently don’t know what caused the fire, but his journalist friends have started broadcasting the pictures of the scene on blackberry. We hope they put out the fire soon.
14-Year Old Bride Poisons Husband with Ota pia pia (rat poison) Because She Was Forced To Marry Him
A 14-year old bride, Wasila Umaru has allegedly killed her 35 year-old groom, Umaru Sani and three other persons in Kano with a rat poison popularly known as Ota pia pia which she poured in their meal. Her husband and three of his friends were said to have eaten the poisonous food without suspecting anything.
The three out of the four of them died on the spot, while the fourth person, a female later died at the hospital she was rushed to. The suspect, Wosila Umaru confessed to the act claiming that her reason for committing the crime was because she was forced to marry a man she didn’t love.

Boko Haram kidnaps 103 girls from Secondary School in Borno
According to reports, 103 girls were kidnapped after an attack on a Girls Secondary School located in Chibok, a town on the border of Adamawa and Borno state. Gunmen reportedly arrived at the school in Chibok around 9pm, killed the soldier stationed to protect the students and took 103 out of the 250 girls that make up the school. The men took the girls away in four lorries. BBC Africa reports that the number of girls abducted is as high as 200.
Residents of the area say the raid, which lasted from 9pm-3am, saw the destruction of several properties as the men overpowered the residents who put up initial defense. Police Commissioner in Borno state, Lawan Tanko confirmed the incident to reporters in the state.
