The best part was where he sweetly described Annie Idibia as a jealous woman "She loves me. So she must be jealous. If I am laughing with a particular girl too much or I am going the way that I am not supposed to go, or if one girl is following me too much, she will be there to caution me. Nigerians hospitalised after mob attack in South Africa

Some days ago, specifically Wednesday and Thursday April 2nd and 3rd, Nigerians in Johannesburg and Pretoria were physically attacked by a group of organized gang members and Commercial Taxi drivers in South Africa. These hoodlums destroyed and looted over 25 shops belonging to Nigerians. Though no Nigerian died in the attack, Nigerian residents there say at least ten Nigerians have been hospitalized with a few battling for their lives.

The attack according to the President of the Nigerian Union in South Africa, Ikechukwu Anyene, started last week from Johanessburg where some gang members attacked some Nigerians and looted their shops. They extended the organized attack to Pretoria this week.

Anyene said the South Africans say they are angry with Nigerians residing there for selling illegal drugs to South Africans. Continue reading...

BREAKING NEWS: Search Ship Of Missing Malaysian Plane ‘Picks Up Signal’

A Chinese ship searching for the missing Malaysia Airlines plane in the southern Indian Ocean has picked up a pulse signal, Chinese media say. They say the signal has a frequency of 37.5kHz per second - the same as those emitted by the flight recorders. However, there is no evidence so far that it is linked to MH370. Dozens of ships and planes have joined the search, with the operation moving into its most intensive phase before batteries on the data recorders fade. The Chinese search ship Haixun 01 on Saturday picked up the signal at about 25 degrees south latitude and 101 degrees east longitude, the state-run Xinhua news agency said.

ASUU Flays Sharing Formula Of N200bn University Fund

On Thursday, April 3, the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) of Niger Delta University chapter kicked against the formula which was adopted in the sharing of the Federal Government N200 billion to public universities. The fund has been disbursed by the Federal Government in the wake of the recent ASUU strike, according to NAN. The Chairman of ASUU chapter, Dr Beke Sese, stated in Yenagoa that the sharing formula was done in favour of the federal universities. Dr Sese added that the fund was shared 80% to federal universities and 20% to state universities, respectively, which was not equitable "and therefore, unacceptable."

The Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA) has captured a one-ton giant crocodile along the shores of Lake Victoria in Kakira village after it allegedly ate a man and maiming several others. According to reports, the crocodile is believed to be approximately 80-years-old and was trapped by officials using meat on a hook. It was gathered that the huge crocodile was later transported out of the village on a truck while more than 100 village residents watched in bewilderment.

An official of the wildlife told newsmen on Thursday that: "Residents appealed to UWA to hunt the crocodile following the death of a resident from Kakira town council in Jinja district." It was informed that the wild life workerss were called in after local fishermen became too scared to approach the lake for fear of their lives.
