Ice Prince – I’m Not Trying to blow in America, I'm Exporting Nigerian Music

Chocolate City rap star Ice Prince Zamani has said that he’s not trying to become an American artiste nor is he trying to force himself on the American music scene. Ice Prince disclosed this during an exclusive cocktail event hosted in his honour recently at the BlackHouse Media Lounge in Ikeja, Lagos. He stated that he only chose to collaborate with foreign artistes on his highly acclaimed second album, Fire of Zamani, simply to export Nigerian music.

“I am not trying to become an American artiste nor am I trying to blow in America. I am a Nigerian artiste that is exporting Nigerian music. Any chance that I get, I will export Nigerian music. So if that chance is getting into the studio with an international artiste, I will take that chance,”

Monarch Burnt to Death After Arsonists Set Palace Ablaze

The sleepy town of Ilase-Ijesa in Obokun local government area of Osun State was, on Wednesday night, thrown into mourning, when the ruler of the community, the Alase of Ilase-Ijesa, Oba Adesina Anibijuwon, was burnt to death inside his palace. According to source which confirmed to UpdatingNaija, The 80-year old monarch, who became blind shortly after he ascended the throne, was allegedly attacked by some hoodlums at about 8.00pm inside his palace and eventually died when his room was razed by suspected arsonists. The embattled monarch, who had been embroiled in a chieftaincy tussle upon his ascendance to the throne, was said to have mended fences with his rivals before the dastardly act was perpetrated. President Jonathan now Discharged From Hospital

 

According to reports, President Goodluck Jonathan has been discharged from the hospital in London where it was revealed that he was receiving treatment. The president, who turned 56 a couple of days ago, was discharged after spending one night in the medical facilities after being treated for stomach related problem. It was earlier reported that President Jonathan could not attend the scheduled meeting of Nigeria’s Honorary International Investors’ Council due to his sudden illness. It has been revealed that after being discharged early this morning, he was able to arrive at the Investor's Council meeting a few minutes ago.
