A couple of weeks ago, the Limpopo crooner, KCee was quoted as saying he is single or separated from his wife. Well, in a recent chat he was asked to shed more light on the issue
Below is what he said:
Can you clear the air on your marital status and the alleged affair you had with actress, Ebube Nwagbo?
Most times, I don’t like talking about marriage because it is a private issue. But to clear the air, I never said I was married or not. The person that did the interview made a mistake. They asked a simple question about a wedding in Lekki some years back and I told them it was not my wedding, it was E-Money’s wedding.

ASUU Strike: Shutting Down Of Private Varsities By NANS Not The Best Option – Babcock University VC

The threat by National Association of Nigerian Students, NANS, to shut down private universities in the country over the lingering strike by Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has been faulted by President and Vice Chancellor (VC) of Babcock Private University in Nigeria, Prof. James Makinde, who has appealed to the students to have a rethink. Makinde, who warned that the threat if carried out has the potential to negatively affect the educational sector, made the plea at a Press Conference in Akure, the Ondo State Capital, shortly after the Western Union of Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Nigeria elected its new leaders.

Basketmouth rated second best stand-up comedian in Africa

Basketmouth has added another feather to his many achievements with the recent rating proclaiming him the second best stand-up comedian in Africa. According to the list compiled by international comedy website, Officiallaughs.com, Basketmouth, 35, only comes second to Trevor Noah, a South African stand-up comedian. Other Nigerian comedians that made the top 20 list includes Klint the Drunk in fifth place, I Go Dye (8) and veteran comedian, Ali Baba (12). Also on the list are US based comedian, Foxy P (16), UK based A Dot (18) and Gbenga Adeyinka the 1st  in the 20th position. Only last April, the Glo Ambassador and TV host emerged the first Nigerian to host comedy gig and TV show ‘Comedy Central Presents…Live at Parker’s’.

Nollywood actress Nancy Ndukwe sentenced to 2 months imprisonment for stealing iPad and iPhone

An Abuja-based upcoming actress, Nancy Ndukwe has been sentenced to two months imprisonment for stealing her friend’s properties worth N190,000 in Abuja. Nancy’s friend, Faith Njoku reported the case to the Lugbe Police station, Abuja on September 2, 2013. The items stolen included an I-pad (N100,000), I-phone (N50,000) and Jewellery (N40,000) summing up to N190,000.

The bilingual Latina actress who stars in the hit show Modern Family raked in $30 million (N4.7bn) from June 2012 to June 2013 -No actress on American TV raked in more money within this period. Sofia Vergara, 41,  doesn’t only make money from acting, she has a Kmart product line and endorsement deals with companies like Diet Pepsi and Cover Girl, Rooms to Go and Synthroid- a thyroid medicine. She has just signed deals to appear in Spanish language commercials for Comcast and State Farm Insurance.

Borno govt planning to demolish 20 churches & Christian schools in the state

The Borno State government are planning to demolish at least 20 churches and christian schools in Maiduguri after acquiring land they say they want to use for a 1000-unit housing estate. Demolition notice has been served to the present occupants of the acquired land, which includes owners of farmlands and several churches and schools built by churches. The state government have already dispatched a notice to the leadership of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) and the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN)

Smugglers set marijuana on fire and jumping in to the Sea

Smugglers shipping 30 tonnes of hashish resin across Mediterranean – with a street value of €40 million (£33.8m) – created a massive drifting cloud of marijuana fumes after setting fire to their illicit cargo as police moved in to arrest them. After setting fire to the drugs, which burned at 1,600 degrees celsius and gave off a thick plume of grey and white smoke, the nine Syrian and Egyptian crew members of the cargo ship leaped into the sea off the coast of Sicily before they were picked up by Italian tax police vessels.Acting on a tip, police had been monitoring the Gold Star, which was sailing under a Tanzanian flag, for three days, before sending in boats and aircraft to apprehend the suspicious vessel. But if the smugglers were trying to destroy evidence, the attempt failed.

25-Year-Old Man Arrested For Raping 7-Year-Old Girl in Kogi State

25-year-old  Abdul Abubakar has  been arrested by the Niger State Police Command  for raping a seven- year-old girl, Fatima Abubakar. The girl was a groundnut hawker around Abattoir area of Bosso Local Government of the state. The incident occurred on  August 30, 2013.
The suspect , an indigene of Ozi village in Koto Karfen Local Government of the state, pretended that he wanted to buy N20 worth of groundnuts from her and lured the little girl into his room.

Wife Pours Hot Water On Husband For Always Demanding Sex

A newly wedded wife, Jamila Saidu Umar is now cooling her heels in police cell in Katsina State after being arrested for pouring hot water on her husband, Aminu Umar, during an argument over sex.
