Aliko Dangote gets $3.3billion loan from 12 banks to build oil refinery

12 local and international banks have loaned Africa's richest man and foremost industrialist Aliko Dangote $3.3 billion to build Nigeria’s biggest petroleum refinery and petrochemical/fertilizer plants.

The banks are: Standard Chartered Nigeria, Guaranty Trust Bank, Fidelity Bank, Ecobank Nigeria, United Bank for Africa, Access Bank, Zenith Bank, Standard Bank of South Africa, Diamond Bank, First Bank Nigeria, First City Monument Bank, and FirstRand Bank.
Standard Chartered is the global co-ordinator, while Guaranty Trust Bank is the local co-ordinator.

Indonesian Muslims protest against Miss World in Jakarta, say event must not hold

Indonesia Miss World ProtestJAKARTA, Indonesia (AP) — Indonesian Muslim hard-liners staged a protest Tuesday in the country’s capital to try to stop the holding of the Miss World pageant this weekend on the resort island of Bali.
More than 200 members of several Muslim hard-line groups organized by the Islamic Society Forum staged a rally and march on the MNC Tower, the building that houses the local organizer of the contest.
They held up banners with “Reject Miss World that exploits women” and “Go to hell Miss World” on them, and shouted “Allah akbar,” or God is great, outside the building, which was guarded by 300 police.

Rihanna pays UFO watcher for alien update

The 25-year-old singer is ‘convinced’ extra terrestrial beings exist and allegedly pays a sky scanner in the Mojave Desert, California, to give her information on sightings. A source told the Daily Star newspaper: ‘Rihanna has always been convinced aliens will land on Earth in her lifetime. ’So she started using the man, who calls himself a sky scanner, to give her information from Nevada on anything that relates to sightings.’
The pair keep in touch from the Little A’Le’Inn, a restaurant and motel in Nevada, which is famous for its ‘alien burger.’ The source explained: ‘He keeps in touch with her from the Little A’Le’Inn – a motel which hosts UFO hunters. ’It’s also near one of the world’s most secret government bases, Area 51. This isn’t a fad for Rihanna, she is a total believer and doesn’t mind spending her money on it to get results.’

Kate Henshaw Flaunts Her Customized Johnnie Walker Whisky

Nollywood actress, Kate Henshaw acquired a customized whiskey by Johnnie Walker, makers of Gold Label, Black Label, Green Label, Blue Label and Red Label whiskey drink and her name is engraved on the Gold Label drink.
She shared a photo on instagram, you can see the gold label whisky with her name boldly written on the bottle.
However, it is not clear if the actress got the whiskey as a gift, purchased it or signed an endorsement for the whiskey manufacturing company.
