Yet another police officer has been filmed while negotiating a bribe. The incident apparently took place last week. An American citizen was stopped at the Monument bank premises in Egbeda, Lagos, for wearing green cargo trousers – which is considered to be a military outfit. The whole exchange was recorded secretly by what seems to be a camera disguised as an electronic cigarette.
In the almost four-minute long video, the yet-to-be-identified armed policeman demands more U.S. dollars from the Americans, even suggesting going to the currency exchange bureau himself to convert the naira to dollars. Watch the video after the cut...
